Schedule: Up to 40 hours per week. Saturdays required.
Summary: Responsible for downstream (after point of sale) processing of orders from our warehouse environment. The shipping department gathers (pick/pull) sold merchandise, correctly packages the goods and with cost efficiency in mind prints appropriate mail labels. This position works with a variety of other departments, and is ultimately responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction as the last line of quality control prior to customer receipt of goods.
Responsibilities:
Pull sold merchandise from stock/pre-pack screening for quality assurance.
Verify accuracy of orders by matching product model and quantity to order information.
Prepare, package and ship products in accordance to policy and customer request.
Correctly identify the best shipping method based on cost considerations.
Learn/use shipping management software – to efficiently expedite outgoing orders.
Repairs damaged media and communicate quality discrepancies to supervisor.
Cross-trains in other areas of the Company to assist in various departments as needed based on order volume and time of year.
Dust/clean shelves and merchandise. Organize backroom stock.
Operate pallet jack, roll ladder or other warehouse equipment.

Maintain a high level of accuracy by shipping correct products and using correct, cost efficient shipping methods.
As the last line of defense for customer satisfaction, must use a high level of awareness to catch listing, product, and/or quality issues before sending items to customers.

Qualifications and Skills:
Minimum High School Diploma or GED.
Basic to intermediate computer proficiency (MS Office, Google).
Attention to detail.
Ability to multi-task, conduct independent research, and use decisive judgment under minimal supervision.
Ability to work independently and use critical thinking skills to prioritize work needs.
Team-oriented and willingness to remain flexible on day-to-day duties.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
Experience in a warehouse shipping environment STRONGLY PREFERRED.
E-commerce experience, especially demonstrated knowledge of Amazon, Ebay, and Walmart STRONGLY PREFERRED.
